Flights
Refundable Fares
If you purchased a refundable ticket, you may cancel at any time before departure for a full refund to your original payment method. Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
Non-Refundable Fares
Non-refundable tickets can be cancelled but the fare is not refunded. Depending on the airline, you may receive a travel credit valid for 12 months. Government taxes and fees are typically refundable.
24-Hour Free Cancellation
All flight bookings made at least 7 days before departure can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of booking, per U.S. DOT regulations.
Airline-Initiated Changes
If the airline cancels or significantly changes your flight, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of fare type.
Hotels
Free Cancellation Rate
Properties offering free cancellation allow changes or cancellations up to the specified deadline (usually 24–48 hours before check-in) at no charge.
Non-Refundable Rate
Non-refundable hotel rates are charged in full at the time of booking and cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded.
Partial Stays
Cutting your stay short after check-in is subject to the property's policy and may result in charges for unused nights.
Cruises
90+ Days Before Departure
Full refund minus a deposit (typically $100–$200 per person).
60–89 Days Before Departure
50% refund of the cruise fare.
30–59 Days Before Departure
25% refund of the cruise fare.
Under 30 Days
No refund. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
Car Rentals
Free Cancellation
Most car rental reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled pick-up time.
Late Cancellation
Cancellations within 48 hours of pick-up may incur a fee equivalent to one day's rental charge.
No-Shows
Failure to pick up a vehicle without cancelling in advance will result in a charge of the full reservation amount.
